Blue-eyed cat breeds

Blue eyes appear in breeds with a pointed pattern, where the face, ears, paws and tail are darker. The list includes the Siamese, Birman, Ragdoll, Himalayan, Neva Masquerade and Snowshoe.

How the breeds were chosen

We included breeds whose standard always requires blue eyes. In other breeds, blue eyes appear only in some colours (for example in white Turkish Angoras, Turkish Vans or Khao Manees), so they are not on the list.
