Hairless dog breeds

Hairless dogs have almost bare skin, sometimes with a little hair on the head, tail and feet. WikiAnimals has four such breeds: the Xoloitzcuintle, Chinese Crested Dog, Peruvian Hairless Dog and American Hairless Terrier.

How the breeds were chosen

We included breeds that their standard describes as hairless. The Xoloitzcuintle, the Chinese Crested Dog and the Peruvian Hairless Dog also have a coated variety. Their skin needs protection from the sun and the cold.
