AntelopeBovidae (antelope groups)
Hoofed animals
Hoofed animals have limbs adapted to walking, running and supporting their weight on different kinds of ground. Some are domestic animals living alongside people; others live wild in herds or range over large areas.
Which animals have hooves?
Examples include horses, zebras, donkeys, cattle, buffaloes, bison, European bison, deer, goats, sheep, rhinoceroses, giraffes, antelopes and tapirs. Camels are a special case: they walk on broad, padded feet with nail-like structures, unlike the hooves of a horse.
