Jungle animals

Tropical forests support predators, monkeys, colourful birds, reptiles, insects and many animals that climb through trees or hide in dense vegetation.

Which animals live in tropical forests?

Examples include jaguars, gorillas, chimpanzees, orangutans, sloths, anacondas, boas, parrots, hummingbirds, tapirs and tropical frogs. Many depend on healthy forests and the relationships between plants, water and climate.
