Toy dog breeds

Toy dog breeds are the smallest dogs: adults usually weigh less than 5 kg and stand up to 30 cm tall. They are among the most popular companion dogs.

Adult size varies between breeds and between individual dogs. Temperament, health, training and daily care matter as much as size.
